Amor Architectural Corporation strongly supports ICSC's position concerning the upcoming California ballot initiative (Split Roll), that if passed, would allow county assessors to split their tax rolls into two lists: (1) residential and some small businesses (very strict rules on this part) who would still be protected by Proposition 13 and (2) commercial and industrial properties that would be levied taxes based on current market value. And their property values would be up...dated every three years. We agree with the ICSC that this initiative could destabilize commercial development in California for years to come.
