COVID-19 makes this an excellent time to stay strong in many ways, including immune health. Turn all that kitchen time into a health adventure. Traditional Chinese Medicine and actually, most cultures around the world, have viewed the food we eat as our medicine, along with taking herbs. Remember the adjunct therapies that go along with herbal medicine and a healthy diet--sleep, exercise, some sunlight exposure, smiling, meditation, compassion--all of which studies have shown strengthen the immune system. Probably don't need studies to know this. Just feels right, huh? Our annual Green Medicine Herb School winter series on Body Systems includes a 10-course lunch of foods good for that system.
