On Tuesday, February 26, Mark Stout, Amber Kinetics’ Vice President, Development Engineering will discuss the company’s innovative kinetic energy storage system during a panel on Mechanical Storage Innovations at the California Energy Storage Association (CESA)’s 10th Annual Market Development Forum in Berkeley, CA. The panel showcases the latest additions to the storage toolkit. The Market Development Forum represents CESA’s commitment to innovation, and creating markets that encourage competition and a cleaner more affordable reliable power sector for all Californians.

De La Salle University’s Laguna, Philippines campus entered into an agreement with Amber Kinetics-Philippines, to establish an R&D center that will develop #flywheel technology. DLUS Laguna Campus is envisioned to become a key resource for scientific and technological advancements within the Philippines. In the agreement, DLSU said its partnership with industry seeks to promote technology research and innovation. Amber Kinetics-Philippines will provide the university with four of its proprietary flywheel #energystorage units. Dr. Seth Sanders, co-founder and chief scientist of Amber Kinetics, visited the Laguna campus to discuss how the company’s technology can efficiently and economically assist in the supply of renewable energy.
