#Repost @ballroommama @alegriaperformingartsacademy Showcase looked a little different this year, but was a smashing success! We sold out without going public with the show. We had it outside, at @alegriaturlock and it was so much more work than having it at the theatre, but so worth it. Our dancers, faculty, and families were happy for some sense of normalcy. I always joke that showcase is like planning a wedding with 50+ bridesmaids, but it really was for this one. ... We had to bring in everything we have and took for granted at the theatre: toilets, curtain, dance floor, sound/dj, chairs, sun shelter. We had our wonderful photographer, @blue_line_runner, and videographer, @xavierrhuerta. Flowers by @heidiheartsflowers. Shirts by @alwaysannistyncreations. We knocked out all the signage for masks and social distancing, had hand sanitizer all over, and guests spread out on the lawn to enjoy the show. I’m so thankful for my community, for the patronage we’ve been blessed with even through Covid. My heart is full, and now I get to enjoy (what will hopefully be) a restful holiday season. See more

We'll explore body confidence, movement and awareness, the art of Burlesque and learn a cute & sexy burlesque mini-routine. That takes care of the Burlesque part...Now the Bubbles! We will provide a champagne toast before and after class, feel free to BYOB, but please drink responsibly! 21+... This is a perfect night out with girlfriends or an act of self-care if you're flying solo. We are a safe and welcoming space to women of all backgrounds. Due to new class size policies you must register ahead of time on MindBody payment of $25 tuition is due immediately to hold your spot in class. BONUS Option! If you'd like to add an hour tassel twirling lesson that's available an additional $20 (pasties included) If you have questions please contact @bettie_mercury Attire: Wear any outfit that makes you feel sexy and confident that you can move in! We recommend: -High Waist Swim Bottoms -Bra -Robe -Flats or heels you can walk comfortably in.
