Due to the rise of cases of Covid-19 spiking these past few days... The Management of Antiques By The Bay has unanimously agreed to cancel our outdoor shopping event this Sunday 7/5 and all monthly planned events until further notice. The State of California, and the City & County of Alameda have all allowed outdoor shopping venues, and flea markets as well as indoor malls as well as retail to operate with safety modifications in place which we exceeded all requirements and t...hey were permitting us to move forward this Sunday, 7/5. We thank the City of Alameda for support and having the confidence that we could implement them safely and we greatly reduced the ticket and booth numbers, much lower than our approval. It is with great sadness it is our decision to protect all dealers, staff and customers, with safety as our biggest priority. See our website for refund information. We deeply wish we could bring our show to you this month in June. But we can’t do so with public safety by the guidelines of California and our City. We mourn the death of all those during this pandemic of CoVid-19. We also mourn the death of #Georgefloyd and all of those who have lost loved ones to injustice! We stand for those who are suffering in these times and we are in solidarity as we continue to fight for equality! Stay Safe. Stay Strong! We Are One! Greetings Friends, Dealers and Loyal Customers! As Social Media Manager and Co-Producer of our Show all of these many years, I am deeply sorry to announce that we will not have our June monthly event as we hoped due to the City of Alameda, as our landlords’ current decision not to allow events of our size to proceed safely at this time. Of course, we wish to resume our operations when we are allowed to ensure optimum safety during Covid-19. Our Company operates locally, ... serving the Antiques/ Vintage Community & the City of Alameda. We are all suffering due to the pandemic & impact of the suspension of our monthly event. This is unprecedented. We truly send our condolences to all who have lost loved ones to this pandemic. Our hearts go out to all who have suffered during this time. We are complying with guidelines from the State of California and local Health Authorities and are implementing a plan to re-open safely with an edited and curated event that the City of Alameda will approve, to bring our show back safely, hopefully this summer... We will post further updates as we proceed with our plans to re-open. Thank you for continued support and patience. We miss you all!!! We were unable to bring you our monthly Antiques Faire today due to sheltering orders but we are working to bring it back soon, this summer. Hopefully next month in June. We are still under at home orders due to COVID-19. Our MAY date is sadly CANCELED. Until further notice, we are still complying with regulations within our State & City to protect the health and safety of our customers and dealers, which has always been our highest priority. We are still awaiting information for our Antiques community on the condition of moving forward as guided with the CDC & our Government guidelines while we meet this moment as a community to move forward with safety and health as our major motive in this uncertainty and in an abundance of caution in regards to large scale events. To our Valued Dealers and Customers, It is with a heavy heart we have canceled our Sunday, April 5th Antiques Faire to comply with a Shelter In Place Order imposed by the City of Alameda and the Governor of California for everyone's health and safety during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) containment. We at Antiques By The Bay, Inc. put safety as a top priority. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these uncertain times and realize how difficult this is for everyo...ne in our Alameda Antiques Faire community. Since this situation is beyond our control, we await the California Department of Health Services & the CDC to issue future instructions. Please Note Our SISTER SHOW The Alameda Vintage Fashion Faire has been Canceled. Please read our statement below. To our Valued Customers, On Tuesday, March 10, the Alameda County Public Health Department issued a recommendation that all large gatherings and community events be cancelled or postponed in order to protect residents from COVID-19. On the following day the City of Alameda cancelled all non-essential City Sponsored public events, and requested all private events ...with 100 or more in attendance cancel as well. It is with a heavy heart we are canceling the VFF spring event scheduled for this weekend 3/13 & 3/14, after months of planning & promoting our 10th Anniversary show. Your health and safety is our biggest concern. We were closely monitoring the evolving Coronavirus outbreak on a daily basis and now that the City has issued a directive we feel compelled to comply. If you purchased tickets online through Brown Paper Tickets, you should be able to get a refund through their website by Friday. If you have questions or need assistance please call our office at 510-522-7500. Our Fall Vintage Fashion Faire will be held on October 16 & 17, 2020.
