A message from our President Tony Akel: Akel Engineering Group continues to monitor the Coronavirus (COVID19) pandemic affecting everyone worldwide. We made provisions for our staff to telecommute from their homes and continue to support the needs of the critical infrastructure during these challenging times. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who are affected by this pandemic for a speedy recovery, and our deepest gratitude goes to all the public health and other responde...rs on the frontlines. We extend our great appreciation to public works staff maintaining our very critical infrastructure operational during these challenging times: making sure potable and safe water continues to flow to our taps at home, our flushed wastewater conveyed safely to treatment, and our trash collected. 2016 Toys For Tots drive at AEG. Thanks to the giving spirit of our employees for organizing this drive and donating their time and resources!

We presented at the Innovyze Asset Management Prioritization User Group Meeting. Title of the presentations: "CapPlan Isolation and Outage Analysis" and "CCTV Integration with InfoMaster". Over 50 professional users attended the event held at East Bay Municipal Water District on December 9, 2016.

We participated at the ASCE Fresno State Student Chapter Annual Fall Banquet. Tony Akel helped induct new students in the Order of the Engineers.

Our firm was a proud sponsor at the APWA CenCal Chapter Annual Meeting and Banquet and Awards Program. Central California Public Works projects and teams that successfully completed them were recognized.

Tony Akel gave a lecture today to the CE 141 class at Fresno State. Subject: "Water Demand and Conservation". The students were working on hydraulic modeling homework prior to the lecture.

The Business Journal ranked Akel Engineering Group as 3rd fastest growing company in the Central San Joaquin Valley!

our employee Parker Klemin was awarded the Spartan Trifecta medal. The medal if awarded to those that finish one of each of the Spartan distance races in a calendar year: Sprint, Super, and Beast. Congrats Parker!!

Over 120 students reached in the October 24 and 25 classes. We emphasized to the students the value of "communication" in the engineering profession.

Our principal, Tony Akel, gave a lecture to civil engineering students at Fresno State. Subject: "Professional Skill - Communication". Very sharp group of future civil engineers!

Our staff participated and sponsored in the 2016 ASCE and APWA Golf tournaments. We are ramping up to win the 2017 tournaments !
