According to the results of the Flatten Inaccessibility study, 28% of blind and low vision people surveyed said their state had accessible voting systems, although 91% of people taking the survey defined themselves as registered voters. From this statistic and others Aira crafted our Get out the Vote promotion. Aira customers may use our service free for up to 120 minutes, in blocks of 20 minutes at a time, to connect with a trained agent to learn about accessible voting ...in their state, research current ballot items, candidates and election information or maintain social distancing at the polling place. For more information about the Flatten Inaccessibility study, visit www.flatteninaccessibility.com. To access Aira’s Get out the Vote! Promotion, tap the Apply a free offer button on the app’s home screen. Tap on Promotions and swipe to the Get out the Vote offer.
