Today Governor Newsom ordered all Californians to wear face coverings while in public or high-risk settings, including when shopping, using public transportation, and when seeking medical care. According to the CDC, cloth face coverings may slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others.
