Calling all of my licensed mental health clinicians (LMFT, LCSW, Licensed Psychologists)! Please consider helping out a colleague for her dissertation research. She only needs 50 more participants! Feel free to also share this post!... Please and thank you. Hello, My name is Sara D. Elliott, and I am a doctoral candidate at the California School of Professional Psychology, Alliant International University Sacramento. I am emailing you to ask for your participation in my dissertation study examining burnout and self-care practices of mental health practitioners. My dissertation chair is Emil Rodolfa, Ph.D. For this study, you will be asked some demographic information, followed by two surveys. The survey is online and should take about 10 minutes. Participants are limited to those who have completed graduate-level training programs with a master’s or doctoral degree and are licensed as either a clinical social worker (LCSW), a marriage and family therapist (MFT), or as a psychologist (Ph.D./Psy.D). Your responses will be recorded on Qualtrics, which is a web-based platform that will host the study questionnaires. Your responses will be anonymous (that is, no information that could identify your responses will be collected), and all data collected from this study will be kept confidential. I would be happy to send you an aggregate summary of the results upon request. If you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected]. You can also contact my dissertation supervisor, Dr. Emil Rodolfa, at [email protected]. If you are willing to participate in this study, please click the link below. Additionally, if you have any staff or colleagues that meet the above-listed criteria, please consider forwarding this email. I appreciate your consideration of this request to participate in this dissertation study. Thank you! https://alliant.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_emL5H8HsiUcBSNn Respectfully, Sara Sara D. This! Think about break ups from toxic relationships. You will for sure be sad and mourn the relationship, but it is/was ultimately a good decision.

It’s okay to not be okay. Tell someone if you are not okay.

Self care is key!

Thinking kind thoughts is sometimes the hardest thing to do. We are often our own harshest critic, the first step is noticing this and trying to change it. Treat yourself as you would your best friend, it’s amazing the difference this can make. http://ow.ly/yD4a50yZhKs
