Spend a summer learning about cutting-edge imaging science at STROBE, one of NSF's Science & Technology Centers, located in Boulder CO. Help push the limits of ...real-time functional imaging by advancing and combining different imaging modalities including visible microscopy, X-ray, nano-probe, and electron microscopy. All programs include $4,000-5,000 stipend and additional funding may be available for housing/travel. Program dates vary but are typically 8-10 weeks during the summer months, include research in a supervised lab experience, supporting group and social activities, and academic, science, and career development opportunities. Participants will present their summer findings at the STROBE Summer Undergraduate Research Scholar Symposium in August. NREIP/Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program! This ten-week intern program is designed to provide opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to participate in research, under the guidance of an appropriate research mentor, at a participating Navy laboratory. The internship has a duration of 10 weeks. Stipend levels will be determined by the student's years of participation in the NREIP program. Stipends will be paid bi-weekly via direct deposit....
