In light of yesterday's election results, I offer my services as a non-religious wedding officiant, free of charge, to any LGBTQ folks who have decided to marry sooner than later because they worry about how long their marriage rights may last. Rather than tie the knot at the County Clerk's office, please bring your marriage license to me, and I'll give you a lovely non-religious elopement ceremony anywhere in Long Beach. Honored and pleased to have officiated for three fabulous couples this weekend, the third being my friend and yoga teacher Samantha and her fabulous husband Gregg. Feeling pretty lucky to do this work.

Back home between Leap Year weddings! I'm not sure if I've ever married folks on a Monday before, but this year I have two couples to celebrate. 10:30 AM in Palm Springs: check! Home to connect to a new couple on Skype before donning my suit for a wedding at dusk in Corona Del Mar. Happy to be busy celebrating love.

In Friday's wedding ceremony I got to quote Carl Sagan, and Saturday's wedding included a reading from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. That's pretty much Heaven for this atheist officiant.

Three weddings this weekend! Today I married a lovely couple who met in a chat room half their lives ago! Tomorrow's couple will be pronounced married BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL. And on Sunday I drive out to the desert for a simple Zen-like ceremony surrounded by Joshua Trees. I have the *greatest* couples.
