Happy Spring Quarter, Aggies! Lap Swimming is back with 45-minute sessions during morning, noon, and evening sessions. There are now 10 lanes available at the Rec pool: 8 can be reserved online and 2 can be gained via walk-up lanes. Please note that not every swim session will have 10 lanes available due to student programs being run in the Leisure pool. Happy Friday Aggies! Wondering what to do during Spring Break in Davis? The UC Davis Rec pool is offering socially-distanced Rec Swimming to UC Davis students only. Come and enjoy in-water basketball, water volleyball, and the 12 foot deep diving section. Up to 4 people from the same household can register together for a group swim time with a maximum of 3 household per reservation. ... There is fun for all at the Rec pool, so make sure you reserve a spot prior to your arrival. There are 6 groups per day and each group gets 100 minutes in the Rec pool. Hey Aggies! Beginning March 30th 2021, the Aquatics Unit is excited to introduce Student Swim Lessons at the UC Davis Rec Pool! These lessons are for all UC Davis Students, and all lessons are catered to your ability. Whether you’re looking for tips and tricks to get you to the other end of the pool OR if you’re a competitive swimmer looking for an edge, Aquatics have the instructors for you. Entry to the Spring Quarter Swim Lessons cost $80 for 10 lessons. Swim Lessons a...re once-a-week starting the week of March 29th and finishing the week of May 29th. You will sign up for a certain swim time (group-see below) and each group maxes out at 3 swimmers (each swimmer receives their own lane). Favorite part about working at Aquatics: I love working for the Aquatics Department because of the people.
