How should my employer protect me from wildfire smoke? Employers must provide respirators for voluntary use when the air quality index (AQI) is 151 or higher. When the AQI is 500 or more, workers must use a respirator and a professional should perform a fit test and ensure the worker is wearing the correct respirator. ¿Cómo debería protegerme mi empleador del humo de los incendios forestales?
