It’s not every day one of your patients flys in from NYC! We have missed you Enzo and it was a special treat to get your mouth cleaned up and healthy for your return home. #healthymouth #happypatient #jetsetter #maltese @gioandenzo

This one is tough for us. Wicked was a beautiful soul and he passed away yesterday. We saw him for many procedures trying to fix his jaw and help him lead a pain free life. It took awhile, but we succeeded. Wicked lived an adventurous life whether it be traveling by car or plane! He would give his love to whomever he met and he became family here at AADC! Our love to his parents. He will always be remembered. #sphynx #sphnxcat #wicked #bestboy #talker #lover #friend #family

O’Malley came to us transferred from @pescm_sanrafael back in July with multiple facial fractures and retinal detachment. After having two splints, extraction, eye medications and a little bit of luck O’Malley is healing beautifully and back to playing with his favorite little human. He no longer goes outdoors. #luckoftheirish #cats #catsofinstagram #facialtrauma #aggievetdentist

Along with those irresistibly cute faces come serious health problems, which not only impact the quality of life but also quantity. A newly published study in PLOS ONE suggests that brachycephalic breeds live, on average, 4 fewer years than dogs of breeds with longer muzzles. Please think twice before buying a brachycephalic dog (or cat!) from a breeder.

Today we found out one of our long time clients passed away, unexpectedly to our knowledge, and we as a team are heartbroken. We miss you, our clients, COVID-19 has changed our protocols and made it so we don’t get to have that close personal experience that we (and you) are used to. We don’t like the changes either, but they are necessary to keep us, you and our families safe during this time. Just know that one day this will change and once again we will get to smile together and share a hug. #missingyou #clientsarefamily #patientsarefamily #aggievetdentist #vetmed

Drs. Frank Verstraete and Boaz Arzi have built a veterinary dentistry curriculum and clinical service that is unrivaled at any veterinary school. As the America...n Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education considers adding more dentistry requirements to its accreditation standard, UC Davis is already ahead of the curve and is setting the standard for what a vet school's dentistry program could look like. https://news.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=210&Id=9729066 See more
