The bill would provide provisions for the hardest-hit businesses to access additional PPP funds; long-term, low-interest loans; and supplemental unemployment insurance to assist the hundreds of thousands of creative industry service workers impacted by the pandemic... 77% of Live Music Industry Professionals have lost 100% of their income since March 13, 2019 and likely will continue to do so well into 2021...

Winter NAMM Canceled, replaced by "Believe In Music Week" NAMM Show Update Given the current realities of the COVID-19 pandemic and the health and safety of NAMM members as our first priority, it is now clear there is no path forward for an in-person event in California, and we have made the difficult decision to cancel The 2021 NAMM Show.... While we are disappointed that we will not be able to gather our NAMM family in-person this January, we are reimagining how to connect all facets of the industry while benefiting those most deeply impacted with the launch of Believe in Music: The global gathering to unify and support the people who bring music to the world. We are grateful for the feedback and conversations we've had with hundreds of members across the globe. Your guidance and wisdom have helped shape our thinking in this most unique of times. "This man opened his home up to neighborhood kids as a rehearsal space and recording studio. Kids who would otherwise not have the resources to make music had a place to go after school and collaborate. He even let them use his gear. Now he's being shut down for house shows he didn't even make money off of, and they're fining him $19,000. Please help this man. He deserves it."
