Travis AFB A&FRC 09.04.2021

Good afternoon, Travis fam! If you’re not aware, the installation is currently conducting a base-wide exercise 24-25 February. Access to the installation may be delayed at the gates during periods throughout the day. Base officials respectfully request your patience and to follow instructions from first responders. The Giant Voice notifications will specify exercise, exercise, exercise before and after announcements. Increased sirens and alarms may be heard from the base as... well as additional emergency response vehicle presence in order to simulate a realistic environment in which base personnel can properly train and respond. No action needs to be taken by the public during these exercise tones and voice announcements. Additionally, be advised that access to many facilities and parking may be limited/blocked during specific Force Protection Conditions that will be practiced. We appreciate your patience and understanding. #themoreyouknow #knowingishalfthebattle
