Making an impact on #DowntownSanJose!
It is with gratitude and appreciation that we celebrate our very own #EssentialWorkers, Aedis’ #ConstructionAdministrators. Because of their dedication and diligence, our construction projects remain on schedule, preparing for the day when students will return to school and fill the newly renovated and constructed spaces with laughter, energy, and joy. Thank you for all your hard work! We appreciate you! #NotAllHeroesWearCapes #SomeWearHardHats
The results are in and our Aedis tree has taken the "Best Overall Tree" award, for the second year in a row! We are super excited to be part of this amazing annual event and feel honored to be spreading some holiday cheer in 2020. #ChristmasInThePark

Celebrating #NationalCoffeeDay the #aedisarchitects way, with a giant smile and big cup o' joe.
We are pleased to introduce our newest Aediseans. Each of them brings incredible skill, passion, and creativity to their roles. We look forward to watching them grow professionally and contribute to the success of Aedis' projects and clients. Welcome to the family!
While #aedisarchitects is fast at work designing their new school facility (with copious outdoor spaces, of course!), Charter School of Morgan Hill has charged ahead and created an #outdoorlearning paradise for their new kinder class of 2020, as a response to #Covid19. We are impressed with their ingenuity and dedication to creating a unique, challenging, and individualized learning environment. #CSMH
We are always in awe of the fortitude and resilience of the human spirit. Even in the face of hardship, we witness generosity and kindness. We strive to work together to rebuild tomorrow, better than we built yesterday. Today #aedisarchitects remembers a tragedy from 19 years ago, even as we reel from the current pandemic and ubiquitous fires. Our will is not broken. Our spirit shines bright. We will persevere.
Aedis would like to thank and celebrate all the teachers and administrators who have worked tirelessly getting our kids back to school through distance learning programs. Here are some of our own little ones, hard at work. #weareallinthistogether #distancelearning2020 #backtoschool2020
If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor." Desmond Tutu. We think of these words as we mourn the senseless deaths of George Floyd and other Black Americans who have been victims of systemic discrimination and injustice. #Aedisarchitects stands with Black Lives Matter and supports the fight for equality and justice.... Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s words of wisdom serve to guide us through this challenging time: Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Violence as a way of achieving racial justice is both impractical and immoral."
Cross-laminated Timber (CLT) is an efficient and high quality construction material that takes advantage of pre-fabrication to reduce both cost and time, while creating beautifully biophilic environments. Furthermore, it sequesters carbon from being released into the atmosphere to help slow down climate change. Aedis Architects is pioneering the use of this material in commercial construction such as this project, as well as in educational projects. Stay tuned for more development!
Aedis CEO Thang Do, FAIA, was honored as Co-Environmentalist Of The Year by the Santa Clara County League of Conservation Voters. Sharing the honor was his friend and collaborator, Raul Lozano, Executive Director of Valley Verde.
Glad to be part of this great team at the Housing Trust, who is making a huge difference in addressing our housing crisis.
SPUR has featured Thang Do on their website's Member Profile. Check out the article to learn a little more about our CEO! #aedisarchitects #leadership #architecture #spur https://lnkd.in/g9Bx-x7
