These photographs are showcasing the work that Advantage Building Solutions at Stanford University on there new faculty housing project, two four story buildings (112 units) and a Fitness Center. On this project we installed Swisspearl panel system, we utilized Resysta products for hand railings and stairwell enclosures, and JamesHardie Cement Fiber Siding. The soffit ceilings for the covered walkways has a clean look.

Examples of old wood fiber siding gone Bad!!!

Examples of what in the beginning was thought to have been a good siding product, gone bad. Here are some photos of deteriorated wood fiber siding. This siding not only looks bad, but it also is now leaving the structural portions of a home and building quite vulnerable to moisture entering the structure which then leads to dry rot and mold. A structure with this old type of wood fiber inevitably succumbs to moisture, instects, woodpeckers going after the insects, it is combustible, and loses it ability for paint to adhere to it.
