Casa Guadalajara is a long time supporter of ASRA. They have supplied lunch for our campers and volunteers at Junior Adaptive Sports Camp for many years. Let’s show our support for them now by ordering meals for take out!
GIVING TUESDAY takes on a new, more urgent meaning in this year of Covid-19. ASRA misses providing sports and recreation opportunities for the physically disabled community and hope that in the near future it will be safe to start up our teams, clinics and camps again. Though everything is on hold, the expenses continue and money coming in scarce, so any donation will help ensure that we will be able to survive this pandemic year and come back even stronger. We continue t...o support the community in other ways. When Thomas saw on the news that this bike was stolen, he remembered that we had a similar one that was rarely used. He contacted the boy's family, cleaned up the bike and delivered it to a grateful young man. There are huge smiles behind these masks! Thank you Thomas for your dedication! https://www.nbcsandiego.com//all-i-want-is-just-t/2441516/
We are thankful for all our athletes, families ,volunteers and donors. Happy Thanksgiving to all. Stay safe and we hope to see you all as soon as possible!

Typical playgrounds do not consider wheelchair users or any of the different ways we experience the world. But that’s an outdated social construct and we’re ...changing that! We believe ALL playgrounds should be designed inclusively because EVERY CHILD DESERVES TO PLAY! Join us! Donate today + get involved. #everychilddeservestoplay . 2021 CAF Grant Announcement CAF has seen firsthand the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on our athletes and their sport and fitness endeavors. Despite t...he uncertainty of what the next year holds, CAF’s mission remains unchanged. In an effort to best meet the needs of our community, we have made the decision to push back the opening of the 2021 grant cycle by one month. The 2021 CAF Grant Application will be available on the CAF website on Thursday, October 1st, 2020 and it will close on Monday, November 30th. We anticipate no changes to the March 2021 grant distribution date. It is our hope that by pushing back the application start date, applicants will have more time to determine what their needs are for a CAF grant during this uniquely challenging time. For more information on the grant application, including eligibility and documentation requirements, 2021 grant cycle timeline, and FAQs, please refer to our website: www.challengedathletes.org/grants, or email us at [email protected]

If there is a Halloween this year!
These two aren’t so little anymore but still as cute!
Thanks Thomas and Lindsay for keeping ASRA going until we can have camp and year round programs again!
We're definitely missing our counselors and volunteers this week too!
