AND WHAT SHALL I DO NOW? A question which we often ask of ourselves. Whether it is where should I live or work; which educational path should I apply, or even ... should I stay in this relationship? Yeah relationships are hard. Particularly because in order to succeed they ask for everyone to be willing to work effectively toward a common purpose. If you should find that another person is not putting in enough, or an equal effort for our success, then you may find yourself asking the WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW? question. I know that you want to have a successful life, right. I pray the best for you, but.. But let me ask one thing of you! ARE YOU DOING THE BEST THAT YOU KNOW TO DO IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD? Oh please don’t be offended because I asked you this. You see our God has already consulted with you on this subject. I, as a friend, am offering some insights on how I began to do better. And I am still working on it. WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW? Now that I have asked for a relationship with God-the-Father, or, now that I realize that I have been coasting along in my faith journey, HOW DO I BECOME BETTER. Amen First of all, asking these questions and seeking to be better at this relationship is the best beginning. It is called Willingness, and it is fueled by Faith. Faith. A belief that GOD is. You want to please your partner, well here is some advice: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 KJV We are, each one, at differing levels of faith, but each persons effort is the key to success. WHAT DO I DO NOW? Let’s look to scripture. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 KJV What an appropriate and simple and easily done way to start. We should first ask of GOD for the right way to go. An action which will also fit in with His Morality, or righteousness concept of ‘ how to do’ things with respect to God and your fellow man. And then? Well here is an equally important step. You should get to know your partner. Our GOD has a personality which has likes, dislikes, and desires for your betterment and wellbeing. You might ask, What can I offer to God that can improve His life? A definitive answer is that all He asks for is your LOVE. HE IS ALL AND COMPLETE. HE HAS CREATED ALL AND HAS POSSESSION OF ALL. Perhaps a better way of knowing what God is like and does like is found in scripture. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalms 119:11 KJV You may be seeing a pattern for your success; that is that the answers for your next steps are found in the written Word of God. The purpose of your Bible is to provide answers and guidance, and to provoke thoughts which will guide you into the best relationship. I will introduce you to a simple guide. It is found in 2nd Peter, chapter one and verses 3 through 10. It list eight things that one should do to become more successful. In actuality I can count ten items, but we will still call them The Great Eight. Here they are. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 2 Peter 1:2-10 KJV DEFINITIONS These are by Man’s dictionary. Perhaps, through study you may develop a more spiritual understanding. Amen Knowledge of God. Understanding His purpose and plan Faith. confidence or trust in a person or thing: belief that is not based on proof. Knowledge. acquaintance with facts, truths, or principles, as from study or investigation; general erudition: knowledge of many things. Temperance. moderation or self-restraint in action, statement, etc.; self-control. Patience. the quality of being patient, as the bearing of provocation, annoyance, misfortune, or pain, without complaint, loss of temper, irritation, or the like. Godliness. conforming to the laws and wishes of God; devout; pious. Brotherly kindness. the state or quality of being kind: Charity. generous actions or donations to aid the poor, ill, or helpless: to devote one's life to charity.

A Word for Today......experiencing a Christ-like existence now FAITH Sometimes I struggle with my faith! No, not with unbelief, I say, rather I can see a way t...o achieve what I desire. And I think, or I believe that ‘I’ can do it quickly, more effectively and in the right time frame of my need. There are two phrases here which can impede success. They are I can’ and ‘ my need’. Now taken independently there is nothing wrong with recognizing my need or believing in myself. It is when the fulfilling of ‘ needs’ without consulting my LORD takes precedence. This is when I pray. When anxiety, fear and doubt raise their ugly heads into my countenance, then I must remember and consider admonition through scripture which will encourage and strengthen. Men ought always to pray and not faint. I have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind Faith provides patience and hope and completeness. Here are a few of the Scriptures which instruct me in my faith. I pray that you utilize your scriptural blessings. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9 KJV My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. Proverbs 2:1-9 KJV Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: Proverbs 3:5-9 KJV Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. James 4:17 KJV

I would not have you ignorant brethren A Word for Today......experiencing a Christ-like existence now Today is January 10, 2021. Four days ago there was an unpr...ecedented civil uprising in the USA which culminated in the storming of and physical occupation Ofthe Capitol Building. While this event changed our collective history in this country, it is also representing World-wide prophecy fulfillment. So as a Christian you should have been aware, and awake, to that and other events yet to come. Many scripture, but especially St. Matthew chapter 24 tells of the degradation of society. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Matthew 24:4-13 KJV Prophecy of human moral decay and Promise of a Hope. Did you not know? Well now you have been reminded. Other scripture remind that men will have ‘itching ears’, meaning that they will only seek what they want to hear; rejecting Truth. How shall they know the Truth if no one should teach it. To teach that truth with kindness and understanding and not anger or shouting or demanding. Who shall do this? For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Romans 10:13-15 KJV Now ‘preaching’ may not be your thing; your gift or your ministry. But 2nd Timothy 2:24-26 says this: And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. 2 Timothy 2:24, 26 KJV Notice the passage says ‘ Servant of the Lord’ and not only a Pastor or Bishop. Perhaps you in service to Our Creator. Noticeable in news reporting videos during the siege of the Capitol are several banners which simply said ‘ JESUS’. Hopefully they carrier of such a banner did not mean an American Jesus, or a Republican Jesus, or Democrat, or Baptist; Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, nor Any Jesus save the Son of the Living God. A savior who belongs to any and everyone. Ephesians 4 reminds me that there is One Faith, One Lord, and One Baptism. How then shall we teach? Also in these videos we can see a gentleman covered with phylacteries( look it up). He carried signs and had others attached to his body which all declared the Word of God in Scripture. You know he is the kind we will call radical or extremist, or see him as a’nut-job’ who goes overboard with his beliefs; possibly seen as someone who infringes on a person’s right to be comfortable. I would not have you ignorant brethren. Perhaps we should be wearing scripture in our countenance; be ‘christlike’ in our conduct and conversation. Perhaps if we could be earnest about Psalms 119:11:Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalms 119:11 KJV Then we might realize that the end-time is drawing near and we should be faithfully ‘ about my Father’s business’ of being prepared to win souls to the Kingdom of God. We can make sure that we are ‘Right with God’ and living our ministry and Commissioned Purpose. Remember to be Not Ignorant. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 2 Corinthians 5:18 KJV Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:19-20 KJV Peace and Grace be unto you Amen

Don’t worry about a thing! In these days of uncertainty and fear and doubt, how are you doing? Violence and racial discord, an uncertain political future, sexua...l immorality are just a few of our concerns. Are you worried? Are you afraid? What are you gonna do? Are you going to run and hide or fight back and which weapons would you use? My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. James 1:2-6 KJV Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:1-6 Is it not great and noteworthy that we have HOPE. DO YOU BELIEVE? Can you Act on Faith? Fear is optional! Jesus says, These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33 KJV

To ALL of my friends who are, have, and will justify their use of a substance to temporarily mute their pain and frustration with life. When I confronted myself it hurt; and it healed.

My husband recently blogged about being inconvenienced in ministry to God’s people. It occurred to me that we have a responsibility to assist God’s people when the opportunity arises. Of course we use prayer and wisdom in all we do but to turn our heads and walk away thinking someone else will do it is not an option for me. It’s a proven fact that if you give it will return to you. Keep in your to do good to others. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:10 KJV

BE PREPARED TO BE INCONVENIENCED! What?!! Be prepared to be inconvenienced. But why? Often as I train people for ministry I try to convey this thought.... It goes against the grain of human thought, but in truth, if you minister well your thoughts and needs will come in second place..Or third. There will be a ‘draw’ upon your personal time and resources which you may not have made provision. People need and you have the ability to fulfill the need, good intended, or selfish. And you did put on that cloak of a righteous servant. Will you be willing to go that second mile when they ask? A case to consider. I drive for a service whereupon I transport people. I receive a notification with Name, location, and destination. So when I arrive at a grocery and there is a senior with a full basket, I may have to decide whether to exit the driver’s seat and load the contents into my car trunk. Also upon arrival at their home and there is no one to help carry the load to the porch; it either ‘not my job’ or humility/humanity which compels me to ministry. What would you do? Do I declare that I am doing this for Jesus; or is His service better declared without verbal explanation. Remember, I did not say to expect to be inconvenienced, but rather to have your mind, your heart, and your spirit strengthened for ministry. Amen See more

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 17:3 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/jhn.17.3.kjv

The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Psalms 34:18 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/psa.34.18.kjv Please know that God is with you always. There is not one single thing on this earth or otherwise that can separate you from His love. That is His promise to us. Also another promise is that we can cast (give) our cares on Him because he cares for you. I know it’s dark right now but the darkness will pass and joy comes with the light.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/rev.12.11.kjv I was looking at a video from Chadwick Boseman where he gave the commencement address to a graduating college class. I was happy to find out he was a Believer in the Body of Christ. In the video he spoke of overcoming obstacles in life as well as negativity. Mr. Bose lifted himself up using his words as motivation. Our words are powerful. I tell myself daily what will happen that day then I act upon my words. God created this world and everything in it with his words. Everything around you started with word. Are your words overcoming?

If you're having sex before marriage, go to church anyway. If you are a drug addict trying to beat addiction, go to church anyway. If you were out drunk all night the night before, go to church anyway. If you aren't sure what gender you prefer, go to church anyway. If you can't quit that disgusting habit, go to church anyway. Church is a hospital for the broken, lost, empty, confused, desperate, and rejected. Every sinner has a future, and every Saint has a past. How do we br...eak the chains of addiction and bondage? By prayer - prayer for you and prayer with you! There isn't a single person within the 4 walls of the church that doesn't have something they hate or regret about their past. We've all made mistakes, and will continue to - BUT His Grace is enough!! There's things that I'd never want to admit outloud about myself, but God knows. And He loves me nonetheless. So whatever you've done, whatever you're doing, whatever you will do....go to church anyway. It might just change your life!! If you are in church and don't have any of those problems, stop running those people away! Just like you got saved, don't hinder somone else from a life changing/saving experience. It's time to shepherd some lost sheep Copy and paste if you agree! I did!!!

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 2 Peter 1:3 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/2pe.1.3.kjv God through his divine power has given us everything we need to maintain a godly life. No need to worry if you can make it. It's written in His word, "you can make it! Put your trust in me."

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matthew 6:34 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/mat.6.34.kjv God has encouraged us not to look ahead to tomorrow with worry and anxiety in our hearts. Live in today to the fullest. Occupy your mind with the beauty of today. Consider every way that you are blessed and have confidence that your Heavenly Father is watching over you. If He feeds the sparrow how much more will he do to bless your life? Remember, you are loved.
