Always be aware of your surroundings and who is watching you! It’s not just about being able to fight but recognizing a potentially dangerous situation about to happen. Stay alert and never give up!!!

Our prayers go out to the victims at the recent school shooting in Colorado. It’s a sad reminder we need to stay up on our trainings and drills. Being prepared will reduce loss of life. Stay safe my friends!!

Its all about training and drills!! Not just self defenses alone will save you from a subject with a gun.

Horrible so sorry for al the senseless loss

The superintendent of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in North Carolina said the deadly shooting at Butler High School Monday morning was a bullying incident gone "out of control".

Good Morning, I wanted to send a thank you out to MCOE for going through my Active Threat Training program. It was good to see some of my old friends and also meet some of the new staff members. They all did a great job! Have a great year and stay safe! We live in a world that is a lot different than it was when we attended school. While I was a police officer one of my last assignments was School Resource Officer. While working this assignment I got to meet many staff members and a lot of concerned parents. After speaking to many parents and teachers, I started to look into the safety of our schools and see how I could make them safer for our children and staff. Unfortunately, its not a question of if an Active Threat will occur but will we be prepared when it does happen. Not being prepared is not an option!! Be safe and stay aware!
