Hi there! Exciting changes are happening over here. The first one is that I’ll be putting myself out there more in hopes to build stronger connections. I will also be posting more great content to benefit you and your business ... As an on and off introvert, it isn’t easy for me to put myself out there tho I never realized how scary this would be. So here I am being vulnerable by posting a selfie of myself on my business IG page. When you engage with Accountant Team, this is the main person who works with you. This is the face that pushes herself and her team to go above and beyond to give you and your business the quality service and attention it desires to have. I started my business because I wanted to create a company that genuinely cared and was a team player for you and your business. It can either be a simple or complex tax return, bookkeeping, payroll, or business structure. We care and ready to go alongside you! I wanted to create an environment where we didn’t rush through your work just to make a quick dollar. We are not focused on quantity, but in quality. We are also focused on convenience. Without sacrificing security, we have a virtual system that allows us to prepare and file your tax return without leaving your home or office! Sitting in the lobby waiting for your tax appointment among others who are waiting too is not the type of experience we want to create for our clients. Your time is valuable. Our current clients either: use our virtual office space (which they absolutely love!) meet and drop off their tax docs w/me at our DTLA office. I even take their experience further and pick-up/drop-off at their home The beautiful thing about having your own business is that you get to create your own environment. What type of environment do you like to create for yourself? Comment below

Will your tax refund be delayed due to the government shutdown? Is there anything you can do to prevent your tax refund from getting delayed? _____________________ A lot of people have been asking us how will the #governmentshutdown affect their #taxrefund. We decided to create a post surrounding this topic as we thought a lot of you might be wondering the same thing. _____________________... The #IRS announced on January 7, 2019 that they "will provide refunds as scheduled." We are interpreting this as "no, the government shutdown will not affect the timeliness of issuing your tax refund." _____________________ Usually, the IRS will issue your refund within 21 days from the day they accepted your tax return (if there were no issues with your return). _____________________ The IRS does have an automated system that efficiently processes your tax return and refund. If your tax return makes it through their computer system without getting flagged, you're looking good. BUT, if the computer flags your return, you'll automatically get an IRS letter letting you know what's going on. At that point, you can expect your tax refund to be delayed as they are currently short staffed to have someone process your response. _____________________ There are many reasons why your tax return will be flagged. To prevent any delays, we are recommending you: 1) Electronically file your tax return (I assume everyone does this by now) 2) Get your refund via direct deposit instead of a mailed check (you probably won't want to call the IRS if your refund check was lost or stolen as they are currently short staffed) 3) Submit a complete and accurate tax return (I assume we all do this as well ) _____________________ We know a lot of people who depend on their tax refund to pay their bills. We're glad the IRS isn't expecting them to be delayed :)

We were able to increase our new referred tax client's refund by $2,000 compared to last year! Prior preparer didn't take the best tax situation for the client. The value you get from a professional will pay for itself. Our tip: make sure to ask your tax preparer to reevaluate your tax situation and not just go based on your prior year taxes.
