Kazuki Tomono from Japan was here at the Lake Forest Ice Palace in CA for choreography from resident choreographer Phillip Mills. Fuji Television was here as well filming a documentary on Kazuki and his training.

It is with great excitement we cheer 13 year old Alyssa Liu's national title. She is now the youngest national champion ever, as she broke Tara Lipinski's record of being the youngest champion at 14. Let's also remember that Mirai Nagasu was 14 when she became national champion in 2008 with the great and amazing coach Charlene Wong.

Tomorrow two of the four brand new rinks at Great Park Ice in Irvine open! One of the rinks has seating for 2500. There are three NHL rink’s and one Olympic size rink. #fabulous

It is with great sadness that I tell you that my dear friend and legendary skate boot maker Don Klingbeil passed away in a tragic car accident. Don and his father Bill will always be remembered for creating and sustaining the most amazing skate boot company. Thousands of skaters wore his boots and love the Klingbeil family for their unparalleled service and dedication. What many may not know was what an amazing man Don Klingbeil was. He was so kind and wonderful and I will miss him so.
