Function generator is one of the most commonly used equipment for bench testing. These function generators' maximum output voltage is 5V into a 50 ohm load. Many test and measurement applications require even higher voltage. A high-voltage function generator amplifier is the best way to boost the generator output voltage. In the Figure below, a high-voltage amplifier is connected to a function generator and amplified the voltage to as high as 65V. The combination of function/signal generator and a TS250 Waveform Amplifier is a great way to produce high-voltage voltage waveform. http://www.accelinstruments.com//High-Voltage-Function-Gen
Ultrasonic amplifier amplifies voltage signal at supersonic frequencies. Unlike audible frequencies (20Hz to 20kHz), ultrasonic-frequencies is from 20kHz to hundreds of kHz and often in the MHz range. The most common ultrasonic amplifier usages are piezo transducer driver. At ultrasonic frequencies, piezoelectric transducer's impedance is low. These transducers need very high-current amplifier driver to operate. The TS250 Waveform Amplifier is great instrument for ultrasonic amplifier. http://www.accelinstruments.com/A/Ultrasonic-Amplifier.html
Unlike most bench power supplies that can only output positive voltage and can only source current, a four-quadrant power supply can output both positive or negative voltage at the same time it can sink or source current. Common bench power supply is consider operating in the first quadrant only (see figure below). A 4-quadrant power supply on the other hand, it can operate in any of the four quadrant and it seamlessly transition between quadrants. Accel Instruments announced its first blog in Blogger. The blog is dedicated to share battery simulator test applications. What is a Battery Simulator? A battery simulator is an electronic device that emulates many real battery characteristics. These characteristics are voltage, power, current, ESR, etc. It provides the necessary voltage, power, and current to the mobile system like a real battery does. Accel Instruments published a new App Note for generating high frequency magnetic field. This technique uses a novel resonant circuit. At resonant the magnetic coil current is magnified by a factor of two which result in doubles the magnetic field strength. http://www.accelinstruments.com//Magnetic-Field-Generator.
Accel is pleased to announce a new article is published in Electronic Design. http://electronicdesign.com//resonant-circuit-generates-hi. Read the article to learn more about generating high-frequency magnetic field.
Accel Instruments published a new article "Driving High Current and High-Frequency Coil Using Resonant Technique". Read the article to learn how to generate high-frequency magnetic field. http://www.mpdigest.com//Articl/2015/May/Accel/default.asp
