While no new applications are being accepted yet, you can continue to renew. The court referred to Dreamers as blameless and economically productive young people with clean criminal records. . . . Nuestra oficina recibió una gran sorpresa al inicio de esta semana. Hace unos meses recibimos una llamada de un padre de familia que se encontraba muy inquieto. El había pagado mucho dinero a una oficina de notarios en #sylmar para procesar el perdón de su esposa. Después de varios meses no recibía ninguna respuesta y al visitar esta oficina se dio cuenta que ya se habían ido. El nunca recibió un recibo o ningún papel que confirmara que su caso se había sometido con inmigraci...ón. Nosotros trabajamos rápido y mandamos a pedir todo el archivo de su esposa, de inmigración. Afortunadamente durante este proceso nos dimos cuenta que le habían mandado a pedir más documentación para el perdón. Rápido trabajamos con el cliente y en menos de un mes juntamos todo para responder con un paquete muy fuerte. La notaría solo había mandado una forma básica. Ayer recibimos esta aprobación. Nuestra clienta ahora ya puede regresar de Mexico después de pasar varios años fuera y reunirse con su hija y esposo. Le agradecemos a eta familia por confiar en nosotros en una situación tan desalentadora. Asegúrense de siempre buscar la ayuda de una abogada/o. A few months ago we received a call from a distraught husband and father who had paid hundreds of dollars and had trusted a local office in #Sylmar to process his wife’s waiver. He had not received a response in months and when he went to visit the office he realized they were no longer there. He never received any confirmation his waiver had even been submitted. We acted quickly and requested his wife’s file from immigration. Luckily, we received the paperwork just in time to respond to a request for more evidence. In less than a month our office prepared a waiver for this client after realizing the other office had sent in just the minimal form. Yesterday we received the approval. Our client can now return to the US after years of living in Mexico and she can reunite with her husband and daughter. We thank them for trusting our office in such a disheartening situation.
