For the following reasons we will be closed. We hope to be back by April 6th. CALIFORNIA GROOMERS. I called Governor Newsome’s Office today, just to get an update. A few groomers were saying their County said if you are having limited contact with humans and you are a one on one groomer, you can groom. This is incorrect. When this all started each county made their own social distancing rules. As of last week, the state has taken over that task. They are like the claw and... will say who will stay and who will go. (Toy story reference) I asked if one type of grooming would be allowed over another. Mobile/Housecall (1/1) grooming compared to high quantity grooming ie; Petsmart Petco/high yield shops. His representative stated they are not breaking down business into one on one Verse high quantity. If you are not on the essential list, you are ordered be closed. If you are not closed, you are subject to citation/legal action. This was this morning at 1030HRS. The x-ray on the left is of a foxtail tract that was injected with contrast medium to show just how far a foxtail can travel. The lesion between the toes of the... foot on the bottom right is how these tracts will look to the naked eye. This is a great example of just how far foxtails can migrate in tissues.
