"Our invited guests include Mayor London Breed, SFUSD Superintendent Dr. Vincent Matthews, and SFUSD Deputy Superintendent of Instruction, Enikia Ford-Morthel. Together we will celebrate the resilience and excellence of our students and families, followed by an opportunity to learn more about the Fall Learning Plan. Participants will also be able to ask questions directly to District leaders in an effort to better understand how to navigate Distance Learning for their children."

As you may have heard, SFUSD is hosting a series of Town Halls regarding the reopening of schools in the Fall (see details below or visit the Virtual Town Hall Link). All of the town halls will be streamed live using the SFUSD YouTube channel. We invite you to join us for the July 8th meeting at 6:30pm. HOWEVER, we are also asking you to join us 30 minutes prior via Zoom for a Black Family Check-In. Together, we will review the ThoughtExchange Tool being used, as well as uplift questions and concerns specific to Black students and families.

Please virtually join us for the 5th Annual African American College Signing Day Celebration, a very special event designed to honor graduating African American/Black high school seniors across San Francisco. This year, we have decided to align with the Reach Higher Virtual Commencement Celebration hosted by Former First Lady Michelle Obama. SFUSD will kick off the celebration at 11:30am and all together, we will join the larger event at 12:00pm.
