SPOILER ALERT Even Bernie knows what wings are really for... Although this massive wing looks like a good place to hang out and wait for roadside assistance, let’s stay in the car with your seatbelt on if you’re stuck on the freeway shoulder.

Here is a guide for what to do with all of the signal lights that are currently out due to the storm! - Completely out, no lights at all should be treated as a 4 way stop - Flashing Red should be treated as a stop sign - Flashing Yellow you should proceed with caution only if traffic permits! So make sure to slow down and look around to make sure it is safe to go. We are too many accidents in the downtown area when the lights are out. ... Drive safe everyone! See more

The night before....... On this day... 19 years ago 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,997 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift. None of them saw past 10:00am Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment, life may never be the same. As you live and enjoy the breaths you take today and tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted. #AlwaysRemember #NeverForget #NYPD #FDNY #9/11

Driving in excess of 100 mph is a very expensive lesson to learn This individual from the Bay Area was stopped recently by one of our officers who observed her... traveling on northbound I-5 near the City of Elk Grove at 125 mph. Luckily, this driver didn’t hurt herself or others while driving at such a high rate of speed, but she did have a long drive back to her residence with an expensive citation for driving in excess of 100 mph. Speeding is just not expensive if you get caught, it can be deadly. For the last two decades, speeding has been involved in one-third of all traffic fatalities. Speeding is more than just breaking the law. The consequences are far-ranging: Greater potential for loss of vehicle control Reduced effectiveness of occupant protection equipment Increased stopping distance after the driver perceives a danger Increased degree of crash severity leading to more severe injuries Economic implications of a speed-related crash; Increased fuel consumption/cost. Please slow down this upcoming holiday we weekend and arrive at your destination safely.

Have you ever wondered what you are supposed to do when you encounter a traffic light is flashing red or out completely? We have the answer for you! You treat it as you would a stop sign. Whoever arrives first gets to go after making their full and complete stop. ... If you get there at the same time as someone else, the person to the right will always have the right of way.
