I felt the need to repost this because it is powerful! I am a dentist my brother is a surgeon and everyday it becomes more evident that It does not matter how much success you gain, America will See you as just another black face, unworthy of life. I could be Breona Taylor, my child could be Tamir Rice and my brother George Floyd. We have so many colleagues of different race. Some cater to a black clientele some have black colleagues but what is noticeable is the lack of outr...age from my peers. Dentist are more upset at having closed their offices due to Covid 19 than the death of black lives due to racism. I am throughly disgusted!! I read this post and I needed to share it because regardless, if you are Asian, Persian, or African 1st or 2nd generation, your ability to come to the United States and pursue your American dream and becoming a dentist, physician, engineer whatever is only made possible by the African Americans that fought and died for the rights you are enjoying today.
