CARES Act Funding-Inglewood Rental Relief Program (IRRP) - Due to a subsequent round of CDBG-CV3 funding that is anticipated to be received from the office of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the low volume of applicants (248) that were received during the first outreach for the IRRP, the City will reopen the waiting list until an additional 1,000 applicants are received or funding is exhausted. The re-opening is anticipated to begin on November 6, 2020. COVID-1...9 Debit Card Program: Due to the low volume of applicants (1275) that were received during the first advertisement campaign, the City anticipates reopening the list to receive more applicants. Although COVID-19 limited what could be done on Halloween this year, our Parks and Recreation team put together a fantastic Drive Thru Halloween event this year that offered a great experience for families throughout the community. Special thanks to @TheTrutheYBL for donating candy for our grab bags and to the incredibly talented Jaimy Johnson @jaimyjay1962 for designing this year's installations and putting together a great show for the community!

Just a reminder, The SoCal Gas Company will be performing work at their Crenshaw Regulator Station, located on the NE corner of Crenshaw Blvd at 104th St this week Tuesday & Wednesday, November 3 & 4, 2020, between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm. A portion of the work that will be performed will include purging gas into the atmosphere, once or twice each day over the course of the two days. Residents living in the immediate area may smell the purged gas.
