Happy Chuseok everyone! Chuseok is a traditional Korean holiday that translates to "Autumn Eve." It is a time when people go back to their hometowns to spend time with their families and loved ones. During the celebration, people eat traditional foods and play traditional games, and also hold memorial services for their ancestors. Hey everyone!! First off, thank you so much for coming out to our first event last Saturday! We had a really great turnout, and we appreciate you all for showing up and talking with us. Happy Tuesday! First off, it was great to see all the new faces at our virtual club fair last Wednesday. We loved the energy and enthusiasm from everyone we saw and we hope we can get to know you all throughout this semester. Hello everyone!! Pomona College is holding a documentary screening of JERONIMO + Q&A with the director, Joseph Juhn, at the ROSE HILLS THEATRE on MARCH 2 at 7PM. Jeronimo is a film about a Korean Cuban who fought in the Cuban Revolution, later rediscovered his Korean identity, and spent the rest of his life reconstructing the Korean community in Cuba.
