Remembering the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He was a man whose strong faith and belief in change continues to touch our lives today. Dr. King dreamed of a world of peace, love and equality, and he urged us to make his dream of racial equality and social justice a reality.

Warming Center activity is updated in the 211 database. Those in need can receive updates by calling 211 or texting their zip code to 898211. The SLO City Warming Center at 40 Prado opens when either of the following criteria are met: 38 degrees and/or 50%+ chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service. Client check-in is from 7:00pm 9pm at 40 Prado Road. Those needing shelter may arrive at any time during 7pm 9pm; however, if someone leaves, they may not ...return that night. Pets ARE allowed. Smoking is allowed in the designated smoking area. Overnight guests will be provided a safe and dry place to sleep and a hot meal. The Warming Center closes at 6am.
