Happy to be sending this off to it’s forever home! Built several of these probably 23 years ago and was able to reaquire this one a few months back. It’s was in need of a new finish and a new mechanism and now it gets to be a birthday present for a special lady! Easy A for her hubby this year! Glad it’ll be getting more love.

Happy Mother’s Day to my best friend and life partner! You have been such an amazing mom to our two boys, raising them, home schooling them for thirteen years, loving them so well, setting an example for them and so much more! I couldn’t have asked for a better mom for our boys! And now, an excellent Grammy! I know it’s hard not getting to hold Ezra right now but at least we got to do a social distancing picnic! This too shall pass and we will appreciate the sweetness of time with our family so much more! Had a long day yesterday, finally finished up the little house for the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, installed a courtyard gate for a different client and a vanity for yet another client! Plus a service call and lunch on Ocean View blvd in PG! With a visit from this big guy who is missing all the tourists and their spilled food! He got a few fries from me! Final note, while I love Carl’s Jr. food, I wouldn’t recommend the fried cheese burger. Unless you want clogged arteries! @ Pacific Grove, California

Hey all! We hope you’re all staying safe and sane during these unprecedentedly odd days! Weather you’re a it’s a hoax kinda person or a we’re all gonna die kinda person, or somewhere in the middle, we’re all doing our best to survive with the new reality. It’ll be quite some time before life returns to normal. We’re trying to figure out what 3Twenty-One is going to look like moving forward but will definitely keep building! I just installed this swinging gate over at the ...train station/visitors center on Friday as they were finding that people wanted to wander back behind the counter. Fun to see the progress Craig is making on this space and I’d strongly recommend you go check it out once he’s officially open and things are opening back up! I guarantee that you’ll learn something about Salinas, the central coast, California or our agricultural heritage that you didn’t already know! Stay safe y’all! See more

So, haven’t posted in awhile but have been working. Thought I’d share this, we’re always very diligent about hanging stain rags until they’re completely dry and hard before we throw them away in my dump trailer but apparently, today there was a @caprisun bag laying just right and the sun was magnified onto one of these dried stain rags! I was up at the house eating my lunch and Steven called and calmly told me the dump trailer was on fire! Thanks to his quick action and prope...rly charged extinguishers, he was able to knock it back until we could get the hose to it! I park the trailer in my side yard and there is a ton of really dry reclaimed wood stacked near it so this could’ve been much worse! Thank you Steven from @vegandonuts831 for your quick action! So, let this be a lesson to all of you, no matter how careful you are, things can still happen! See more

I wanted to encourage some young friends who just happen to love pirates and ninja turtles! So what better than a ninja turtle pirate ship? So much joy on their little faces! Brought so much joy to my heart!

I’ve been pretty quiet here on Instagram lately, we’ve been working on some cabinet jobs for projects that were still considered essential and obviously haven’t had the showroom open. Today I took advantage of a bit slower schedule to take the girls out for a ride, they LOVE riding in our family Jeep! Remember, tomorrow is Easter, the celebration of Christ’s resurrection! The cornerstone of Christian faith! While we cannot celebrate together with our extended families, we can most assuredly celebrate together as a family of faith! Make sure to watch one of the many available online services and remember that Jesus suffered, died and rose again to pay the penalty for YOUR sins and MINE! He is RISEN!

Hey everybody! I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during these trying times! I’m so thankful that I can continue working on current projects in the shop. Sooner or later things will return to somewhat normal and we can all get back to our regularly scheduled lives. When we do, you’ll be to find this cool project as the entrance to a fun new exhibit at the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History. This is going to be a three sided mock up/rough representation of one of the... original buildings that used to be a part of the museum. It is long gone and there exists only one black and white photograph for me to work from, I have to make up the rest! It’s turning out very nicely, I’m excited to get it finished up and painted for our install date late next month. Biggest challenge, making it in pieces for on site assembly inside one of the rooms at the museum! Biggest benefit of this job so far? I can finally spell MUSEUM without help from Siri! See more

Hey everyone, We are living in an interesting time right now. Many of us here in California and elsewhere around the nation, and world, are on lockdown. No unnecessary travel/visits/outings or pretty much anything! This can and will be very disconcerting and scary for many of us and I expect it will get worse before it gets better. We are in the early stages. There are many theories about what is ACTUALLY going on, deep state stuff, world ending stuff, marshal law, gun grabs ...etc! You name it and there’s someone out there propagating that theory. It’s mind boggling and very troubling to say the least! In life there is really only one constant that can be counted on and that is the LORD Jesus Christ! He is our joy and our comforter. In Psalm 94:16-19 it says Who will rise up against the wicked? Who will take a stand for me against evildoers? Unless the LORD had given me help, I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death. When I said ‘My foot is slipping, your love oh LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within, your consolation brought joy to my soul. When things seem hopeless, when joy is not to be found, turn to Jesus. He is the cure for what ails this world and he can bring joy to your soul! We don’t know what the future holds but we know who holds the future! Stay safe and sane my friends! See more

Hey everyone, just wanted to post a few of the projects we’ve been working on in the last few weeks. Haven’t really had any time or energy to do anything new for the #3twentyonefurniture showroom and we’ve got a big one year birthday celebration here on Saturday so I won’t be having the 3twenty-one showroom open this month! Watch for more postings and for a special event or two coming up in April or May!
