We are thrilled to welcome Tina Fransson to the TRWE team! Ms. Fransson is a registered Professional Engineer with a Master’s Degree in Water Resources Engineering and brings more than 15 years of experience in water resources planning and civil design. She has extensive experience in water quality, drainage design, floodplain modeling, and river restoration on small and large watershed scales as well as in-depth knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic software, such as HEC-RA...S, HEC-HMS, GIS, and SWMM. She has worked on projects from within the public and private sectors, including preliminary and final designs, along with accompanying drainage and water quality reports. For much of her career she has participated on committees to help write regulatory documents and has led several research projects involving groundwater modeling, LID effectiveness, and surface runoff, which have resulted in conference presentations and publications. Welcome Tina!

Last year for World Water Day, we partnered with Africa Servant Leadership Development Initiative (ASLEAD) to build a water supply system that would allow water to flow to a regional training facility in Kenya. This facility, where the next generation of leaders will be trained in servant leadership principles, will also function as the region's largest community meeting center, where gatherings of all kinds will be welcomed. The water tanks (pictured below) will not only serve the needs of the facility, but it will also provide clean, reliable water to the surrounding community. A heartfelt "Thank you!" to all who contributed to this project.

Great news! The Santa Margarita River - the only undammed river in Southern California - will remain preserved forever and will help mitigate long-term water costs for Fallbrook Residents. As river restoration specialists, these are our favorite kinds of projects! https://www.waternewsnetwork.com/popular-fallbrook-hiking-/
