Only a few more days until the election. Many of you may have already voted. Others are waiting until election day on Nov. 3. One of the reasons we wear the uniform is to defend our form of representative government and the right to vote. As Guard members, we have additional responsibilities when it comes to political activity and expressing ourselves online. The video below gives a quick but informative rundown of do's and don'ts when it comes to political expression while serving in the U.S. military:

When the going gets tough, the tough get going. 2020 has been a tough year--a year in which the National Guard has served at the forefront of efforts related to the COVID-19 pandemic, nationwide civil unrest, hurricanes, wildfires and more. At a seminar with Lt. Gen. Jon Jensen, director of the Army National Guard, and Guard leadership from multiple states, 2020 was dubbed the "Year of the Guard."
