Obituary for John R Toth John Robert Toth (Jack) Born: August 22, 1934, in Cleveland, OH Lived in Moreland Hills, OH, and graduated from Orange High School. Gra...duated Ohio State University with a B.A. in Food Science in 1956. Entered the Service in 1957. Was discharged in 1959 as a 1 st Lieutenant. Moved to Whittier in 1979 after marrying Georgia Toth. Leaves behind son, Robert, 3 step-children, Vicki, Susan & Kathleen. Also has 3 grandchildren Heather, Jeffery, and Amie, and 3 step-grandchildren, Traci, Colleen, and Kelly. Has 1 great-grandchild and 2 step-great grandchildren. He was a member of American Legion Post 5 since 1984 and is a lifetime member. Served as Commander for 3 years and as Secretary-Treasurer for many years. Today were share the very sad news of the passing of Mr. John Aldecoa ( Department of Arizona ) John was a terrific gentleman and friend of California. We extend our Prayers, and condolences to Sylvia and the Aldecoa Family. John served as Department Adjutant ( 1998 - 2014 ) in addition to being a member of the National Convention Commission, serving as Vice Chairman. John was a Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Air Force, and a former Instructor Pilot at Airline Training Center Arizona. Rest in Peace Good Buddy, you will be missed.

Greetings families and friends, news of the day is to CONGRATULATE 19th District Commander Ray Gard, MEMBERSHIP Chairman Louie Adame and our Membership Team for 2nd 100% plus year. 10 of our 18 members posts are over the top, and there is still time for the other 8 to join this elite group. AREA 4 we note was the 1st in department to have all 3 districts 17th, 19th and 23rd at or over their goals. Nationally California is ranked 10th. CONGRATULATIONS to all. Let's keep the momentum going.
