Zotfest 2017 is officially over! Congrats to all the films that were nominated! Congratulations also to all the films that took home awards Saturday night! Below is a list of the winning films from the 18th Annual Zotfest Student Film Festival. Best Screenplay - Obsession Best Editing - Mime Combat Best Cinematography - Next Question... Interested in expanding your film knowledge? You’re in luck! FADA is holding a FREE screening of Persepolis this Friday May 19th in HG 1070. Academy Award nominee for Best Animated Feature in 2007, Persepolis follows a young French-Iranian girl as she comes of age against the backdrop of the Iranian Revolution. ... Written and directed by Satrapi with Vincent Paronnaud, this animated movie won several awards including the Jury Prize at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. It was released in several European countries and has been dubbed for American audiences. There will be free light refreshments and a trivia after the movie with some cool prizes! See you there!
