EVACUATION RESOURCES UPDATE (8/19, 6:20 pm): Information hotline and website available for Santa Clara County residents seeking resource information for evacuee...s of #SCULightningComplex fires. Hotline: 408-808-7778 - evacuees ONLY, not for general fire information General fire information: http://bit.ly/LightningComplex-SCC. An evacuation resource center at the Milpitas Library is also available for affected residents. The resource center is staffed by the American Red Cross and serves to assess the needs of individuals and families impacted by the evacuations and determine appropriate resources. It is not a shelter but serves to assist residents with temporary relocation. The Milpitas Library is located at 160 N. Main St., Milpitas. All residents under an evacuation order are urged to take rapid action and leave the area immediately ahead of the fast-moving and unpredictable wildfire.
