Something incredible happened today! Our Seniors surprised Science teacher, Mr. Pullitzer, with his first ever pair of tefillin! Mr. Pullitzer has been growing religiously and has been joining the students for Davening since last year. The Class of 2021 took it upon themselves to raise money and buy tefillin, siddur, and tallit for him. Mr. Pullitzer was overwhelmed with tears and joy. Watching Mr. Pullitzer daven with us this morning was truly inspiring! Yasher Koach to Ariel Hakim ‘20, Yisrael Einhorn ‘20, and the entire Class of 2021! Today was an incredible first day back filled with high energy and excitement. The day began with outdoor davening on campus, in the Valley, and Hancock Park. Then our students headed home for inspirational shirium and classes from our devoted Rebbeim and teachers. It was especially meaningful to welcome 55 outstanding freshmen to our YULA family! Although our classrooms may be empty, it was evident today that learning is very much alive! We are delighted to be the announce Panther Bachutz! This will help our students interact, socialize, and grow. Panther Bachutz will be an exciting in-person experience for students from YULA to learn Torah lishma, interact socially, and dive into experiences that they may not typically be able to participate in. #CommunityStrong

Baruch Hashem we were able to celebrate the Class of 2020 (in the most spectacular way!) with a drive-in graduation ceremony that caps off four incredible years of growth and success!
