Here are the results of the Thanksgiving Day event which saw dozens of volunteers providing food for well over 1000 people and food boxes to provide nutritious foods for additional days! FULL details below! Yuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way provided more than 1300 pounds of turkey from the annual Turkey Drive conducted by YSC United Way and Results Radio!

Where Can I Get A Free Thanksgiving Dinner Today Or Thursday In Yuba-Sutter-Colusa? The COVID-19 virus has affected the way non-profit organizations and churches have handled the distribution of turkeys and cooked Thanksgiving meals. If you know someone who is looking for a meal on Thanksgiving day, there are four choices that we have been told about, two of which are in Marysville and two in Colusa County.... Today (Wednesday) between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Bethel AME Church is passing out Thanksgiving meals to those in need. They are located at 115 5th St. in Marysville. More than 1000 people will be treated to a Thanksgiving meal Thursday at the Habitat for Humanity parking lot. The event will run from 11:00 a.m. until about 1:30 p.m. The meals will be a distributed in a drive-through pick-up. If you know someone who is homebound, they call today (Wednesday) for delivery at 645-2003. Meanwhile, in Colusa County, there are two options. The first is a drive-up distribution by Hand Up at the First Presbyterian Church in Colusa, located at the corner of 4th and Jay Streets. It is happening between 11:30 and noon on Thursday. Call 635-1060 for more information. A second event, this one in Williams, is taking place at the Williams Community Church at 315 Ninth Street. You can dine there or take-out between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Call 473-5913 for more details. The recent turkey drive conducted by Yuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way and Results Radio is providing the turkey for most of these events!
