If you’re like most people, you're probably spending a good bit of time every December wondering what kinds of Christmas presents you’ll get this year. Am I right? I’m not saying it’s a bad thing! I mean, gifts are kind of what Christmas is all about. No, it’s not about getting new video games or clothes, although that happens sometimes. Christmas is about remembering and celebrating the gift God has given us the gift of Jesus. It’s the day God decided to leave heaven, bec...ome a human like you and me, and begin a life He knew would end in suffering and death. But He came anyway, because He loved us that much. Christmas is the day we celebrate that God chose to be near us, and chose to give up everything so that we could one day be rescued. On the first Christmas, God gave everything.
