YTA's Support Our Scholars (S.O.S.) Pro/Am is set for Friday, May 10, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at the California Tennis Club! This is a mixed gender pro/am doubles tournament featuring players from the USF Men and Women's tennis teams. Participants will partner up with a Division I college player for a fun morning of tennis followed by lunch. NEW! Participants and a guest are invited to a complimentary cocktail party the evening before the event, also held at the Cal Club. McLaren Park Tennis Opening Ceremony Saturday, June 23 | 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Visitacion Ave and Mansell St, San Francisco, 94134... Please join Youth Tennis Advantage, San Franciscans for Sports and Recreation, and the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department for a community day celebration that will feature tennis clinics and games for all ages and abilities, friendly exhibitions and light refreshments at the recently resurfaced McLaren Park Tennis Courts. We will celebrate our partnership with the SF Recreation and Parks Department, thanks to whom we are able to run our free program for underserved youth at McLaren Park. We will also celebrate the amazing work of San Franciscans for Sports and Recreation, through which nine public tennis courts in San Francisco have already been repaired and an additional six have just kicked off (two in Buena Vista Park and an additional four in Mountain Lake Park). Saturday, June 23 Tennis courts at McLaren Park Visitacion Ave and Mansell St | San Francisco | 94134 10:00 am - 10:30 am Exhibition and Opening Ceremony 10:30 am - 12:00 pm Tennis games for all ages and abilities led by coaches from both YTA and SF Rec & Park McLaren Park is the second largest park in San Francisco after Golden Gate Park. It's absolutely gorgeous, and one of the few locations in San Francisco with six public courts in one place. If you've never visited McLaren Park, all the more reason to come out to this fun event!
