Story Time! Full Disclosure: I am an aggressive pricer. I do a TON of research prior to listing a home and try to get my clients every penny out of it. Fast Forward We listed my clients home at 585k. I received four great offers and we closed this past Friday at 625k ... We are the highest sold comp in the neighborhood of that same model match by 50k!! With only a month in between of the last sold of similar condition. Moral of the Story: It pays for a home to show well and hiring a professional. Prior to listing I had the home maintenanced, deep cleaned, and staged. Plot Twist: My clients were originally going to sell their home to Zillow for 550k, as they thought they were saving in agent commission. Good thing they trusted me and hired a professional that cared because they profited 50k more than what they would’ve if they listed through them.
