Dear Young At Art Family, Your support has been truly AMAZING! Your donations, rave reviews and kind words of encouragement and been a constant inspiration. We have had many more challenges than we ever anticipated, getting Young At Art introduced to this brand new area. After so many years, working with so many wonderful families in the Ocean Beach, San Diego area it is difficult starting over unknown, and we're so very anxious to provide our special kind of loving art progr...am to new families here. We know it takes time, advertising and a lot of footwork! Knowing you all are there supporting us from so far away inspires us to push forward and reminds us of the importance of our mission at Young At Art. Hey everybody, Just adding this update of this flier we made after much research on the benefits of long-term participation in the arts. This is based on a 10-year, longitudinal study done by The National Endowment for The Arts, and the results really prove to be amazing. Check it out! A Note of Thanks from Miss Kim at Young At Art... Reaching out with heartfelt thanks for all the many years of loving and loyal support from my Ocean Beach family of Parents, Students, Community Members and forever friends, as I begin our new journey of Young At Art Children's Creative Center in McKinney, Texas. My hope and prayer is to bring to this area the creative inspiration and encouragement combined with TLC that was such a winning combination for all of us in Ocean ...Beach for 9 plus years. Working with so many children over the years, and watching the unmistakable growth in talent, creativity and confidence was the most rewarding experience of my life. With a little luck, encouragement and the support of the community who knew the value of our program first hand, we can begin again to provide opportunities to young artists here in Texas:) Your financial support no matter how small, positive reviews, and success stories where ever you can share them is gratefully appreciated to help us start over in this new area where we are virtually unknown...for now.
