Whats the deal with eye cream and do I really need to use one? The skin around the eyes is much more delicate and fragile then the rest of our face. As a result it is more prone to dryness and also shows signs of aging and fatigue earlier then other parts of your face. Squinting and smile lines due to repetitive motion also tend to show up earlier then other lines on our face. As the skin thins, the fat pads shift and get depleted and fluid collects under your eyes, often w...e notice puffiness or dark circles as a result of this. Eye creams are made to target, slow down, control and shift the above. The ingredient base is a different concentration and consistency then moisturizer in an effort to work with the unique skin around your eyes.
