We had such an amazing day today at the Mariposa Iris Garden! Thank you Doug and Diane Kanarowski! Such a beautiful place to have our monthly meeting!

A very nice turn out to our iris show! Thank you for everyone that showed up and brought irises!

3 more days until our first show since Covid closed everything! Looking forward to seeing you all again! Bring a mask, a flower and a friend!

We are getting excited!!! Next month is our annual iris show!! We missed out last year because of the pandemic, but its getting safer and fun things are starting up again. Bring some flowers and bring a friend. Of course, we will still play it safe - wear your masks and socially distance yourselves. Hope to see you there!

Yosemite Iris Society Potting Party is this Saturday, August 22nd at Guy and Carolyn Hoover's home from 8am to 1pm. The club is providing lunch. Bring gloves and masks. Please RSVP to Carolyn at 559-760-5638 Sandy is digging up the irises in her iris island and bringing them to sell as a club fundraiser-$4 each or 6 for $20. Lots of fun colors! Names will be added to the comments tonight.

It's time for our Annual Potluck YIS BBQ!! Hamburgers are provided by the club. Please RSVP to let the host know how many are coming and what dish you are bringing. And, of course, bring your mask and lets do that thing we've all been practicing...Social Distancing!! See you there!

Yosemite Iris Society would like to invite its members to gather at the the Hoover Home this Saturday the 13th at 12 noon for fellowship and to catch up on our members. Plus, Guy has plans to catch up on two months of door prize irises to each member who attends...woot woot!! The front lawn will be set up for a BBQ Hamburger Luncheon, with Guy at the BBQ and Carolyn prepping the potatoe salad. We will use our well practiced safe distancing guidelines and please bring your masks if you wish. We thought this would be a more pleasant and safer option than being indoors, plus our normal meeting place, the Oaklhurst Library, is still closed. We welcome additional potluck items.
