Family, We are excited to announce that we will begin meeting at the building again on Sunday, September 13th. We wiill be meeting for Bible study at 9:30 and worship will begin at 10:30. We will not be conducting children’s Bible classes at this time. Although we did not meet last Sunday afternoon due to the heat, we will gather for worship outside at 6:00 pm. We will continue to conduct our Wednesday evening Bible studies online only through Zoom.... For those of you who are not yet comfortable returning to the building in person, we will be participating in Bible study on Zoom, and will continue to stream our services live on Facebook. We encourage you to watch live and participate by commenting and asking questions on Facebook in the comments section underneath the video. The COVID-19 virus continues to spread throughout our communities, and so we want to do everything possible to keep each other safe when we come together. With that in mind, we ask that everyone abide by the following guidelines in accordance with state and CDC recommendations: Everyone over the age of 2 is required to wear a mask. If you have a health condition that prevents you from wearing a mask please let one of the elders know. If you do not currently have a face mask please let us know ahead of time and we will provide one for you. Please wash your hands frequently and use provided hand sanitizer. Please use provided disinfecting wipes to wipe down any handles or other surfaces that you come in contact with while using the restrooms. Please avoid handshakes, hugs, or any other form of contact while greeting others. Please avoid congregating in common areas. We encourage you to visit and fellowship outside. Please choose seats that reflect the number of people in your party. Cups containing the grape juice and bread for the Lord’s Supper will be placed under your seats before service by someone wearing gloves. The used cups will be collected after the Lord’s Supper. There will be a box in the entryway where you can deposit your contribution. You can also continue to give online if you prefer. The front door and door into the auditorium will be left open at all times. Please avoid going into the children’s classrooms and play area. A professional cleaning crew will be coming in once a week to do a thorough disinfecting wipe-down of all common surfaces. We will continue to monitor the situation regarding COVID-19 in our area and make adjustments accordingly. We understand that these changes are far outside of our normal routine, but with everyone’s cooperation and understanding we know that we can all come together in a way that keeps us all safe, meets all of our needs, and helps us grow together as a body.
