Betty*, a senior, contacted LSNC's pension project for help locating her pension from a company that went out of business. After several months, the attorney lo...cated several former administrators, and the current plan administrator - they all lacked any record of Betty. Eventually, the attorney submitted a claim to the current administrator with supporting documents showing she earned a vested, non-forfeitable right to a pension under the plan rules, and argued the plan must pay the benefit as the present responsible party. The attorney confirmed that our client will be eligible for over $450 per month upon reaching age 65, and she now has written confirmation of where and how to apply for this valuable retirement benefit. https://lsnc.net//western-states-pension-assistance-project See more
