Today is the day, our Halloween Showcase is here! We’ve had so much fun trying something new, playing with our green screens and getting in the Halloween spirit! Each of our dancers filmed their dance at home in front of their green screens and through the magic of digital editing we were able to have them all dance together in some fun, festive, and sometimes spooky, locations! We are so proud of our dancers for learning an entire routine (over Zoom!) in such a short amoun...t of time and getting it performance ready. We want to say an extra special THANK YOU to all the parents who helped assist with hanging green screens and filming our dancers from home. We hope you all enjoy this fun Halloween treat! Congratulations to our soloists that competed at @goshowstopper Virtual last weekend! In Senior Competitive Solos Emily won 1st overall and Caitlyn 2nd overall!! Congratulations twinsies, it was so amazing to watch you both dance on the Showstopper stage after all this time in quarantine! and we were so excited to see our favorite @showstopperjullian! Thank you @goshowstopper for the amazing virtual experience, we are loving it!!

Thank you @goshowstopper for a truly amazing virtual dance competition experience this weekend! For our Yoko’s Dance Class of 2020, we thought their final season would be over before they ever hit the stage, but we are so proud of them, all their hard work over the years, and their resilience during such trying times. It was such a special moment to be able to see them on the Showstopper stage together again one last time! Congratulations to our senior groups: OverThrone won 1st overall Senior Competitive Small Groups, Tous Le Memes 2nd overall, and Endure 3rd overall! And to our soloists: Tara won 1st overall and Irene 4th! Thank you to everyone at Showstopper who made this event possible, and to the fabulous judges who had such lovely things to say to our dancers. It was definitely a memorable weekend!

Our Yoko’s Dance Class of 2020: Sofia, Irene, Christine, Kristin, Nazi, Justin and Mia! Here is their Graduate Dance from our virtual event last month. We were supposed to watch them perform and give their final send off at our 25th Anniversary Recital in July, but as we all know, 2020 struck and had other plans for us. Since we have been sheltering in place since March, we had to create and practice this year’s graduate dance over Zoom. Each dancer came in by themselves and ...filmed their part alone and through the magic of digital editing we were able to create a finished product where they are dancing together again, one last time! While it is not the curtain call we had planned for them we are so proud of the great strength and perspective they have shown during such a crazy time in their lives and in the world... and we are so excited for them to embark on their new journeys! We know they will all do amazing things, and also hope that they will visit us often! Let’s have one more big round of applause for our graduates of 2020! Our dancers are having such a fun time at Radix Virtual Nationals this week! In addition to all the amazing classes they have been taking, here are some high points: Ellary Day won the Highest Score for the Rookie Solo Division! Fiona received 5th High Point Mini Solo and Braelyn 4th! Fiona and Raina won the Highest Score for Mini Duo/Trios!... Raina won 7th High Point Junior Solo! Also, Fiona made it to the Top 12 Mini Female Core Performers! Be sure to tune in tomorrow, Saturday at 3 PM to watch her dance in the Core Performer Challenge!
