Last night was nothing short of spectacular. The storm clouds rolled in just as class was about to start, it drizzled lightly as we flowed through our Sun Salut...ations, and then the sky cleared and left us with the most incredible Santa Monica sunset to gaze out at as we moved through the remainder of our #beachyoga flow. Feeling so incredibly grateful for all of you that came to my concluding Summer class, and I am truly humbled by each of you that have allowed me to lead you through practice over the past few months Welcoming all of the Autumn changes with open arms and an open heart HAPPY FRIDAY!!! Less than 2 hours until my LAST #beachyoga class of Summer So bittersweet, but I'm also excited for the new season upon us! Join me for a magical, relaxing slow flow looking out as the sun sets over the water As always, Marine Street in Santa Monica, Lifeguard Tower #29, all the way to the water. Bring a towel or mat, water (it's a hot one today!), and yourself! There is truly nothing more beautiful than a sunset flow, and I have a feeling the energy tonight is going to be electric! H O M E. Lately in class we have been working on the idea of what "home" is. Yes it can be a place, a person, an object... but it can also mean being comforta...ble in your own body, confident in your own skin. You are your home, and every time you criticize yourself, doubt yourself, give up on yourself you become more and more disconnected from the self - like a stranger in your home. You only have one life, one body. Love yourself, be kind to yourself. You are perfectly imperfect. If you can radiate positivity and acceptance from within, you'll find that no matter where you are, you are home. My last #beachyoga class of Summer is this THURSDAY NIGHT aka TOMORROW!
